Red Cross Babysitting Course
Acquire useful skills and the ability to care for children of all ages, relate well to parents, prevent and treat injuries, and perform an emergency situation. Please bring a doll, snack and lunch with you. Students will receive a manual and certificate upon completion of the program and exam. Minimum age 11. This is a 1 day course. Fri/Sat/Sun 9am-5pm Sessions: Feb 27 March 16 April 10 June 5 $60

Bronze Medallion
This class focuses on the development of physical fitness, decision making, judgment skills and water rescues. Prereq: 13 years old or Bronze Star Oct 15, 16, 17 Fri 6-9 Sat/Sun 9am-5pm $170

Bronze Cross
Focuses on emergency procedures, teamwork, and use of specialized equipment. Prepares candidate for the National Lifeguard Course. Prereq: Bronze Medallion Nov 26, 27, 28 Fri 6-9pm Sat/Sun 9am-5pm $155

Standard First Aid CPR ‘C’
Provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. This course is for those who want an in-depth understanding of first aid including: medical/legal aspects, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, and burns. Standard First Aid CPR ‘C‘ Recert

Red Cross Assistant Water Safety Instructors
This program is the first step in becoming a Water Safety Instructor. Focus on strokes, skills, physical principles of the developing swimmer, and valuable teaching tools. An additional 8 hours of volunteer teaching experience required. Prereq: Minimum age 15 and level 10 or equivalent

Red Cross/Lifesaving Society Water Safety Instructor
This course is designed to prepare candidates to teach the Red Cross swim program and lifesaving society bronze awards. An additional 12 hours of teaching experience is required. Prereq: Minimum age 16 and Red Cross Assistant Water Safety Instructors Nov 5,6,7,19,20,21

Red Cross Instructor Recert
A clinic both in the water and classroom that will give you any updates you will need to know. Red Cross Instructors need to re certify every 2 years. Nov 21 9am-1pm $80

Advanced Instructors and Examiners Standard Clinic
This course is for Lifesaving Instructors who are interested in taking advanced leadership certification courses. This class reviews the preparation required to set up and conduct an aquatic leadership exam such as Bronze Cross. Evaluation methods and criteria are reviewed. This class is on land and in water. Prereq: Two years teaching experience, and bring in current Lifesaving Instructor Award. 9am-5pm This is a 1 day course. Oct 17 $80
